Jaron "Boots" Ennis defeated Eimantas Stanionis in their welterweight unification bout at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. Ennis won by TKO in the sixth round, after Stanionis' corner stopped the fight. Ennis knocked Stanionis down in the sixth round with a series of uppercuts, and Stanionis' team decided he could not continue.
