Nakatani scores a 6th round KO victory over Chitpattana

WBC champion Junto Nakatani scored another impressive win, defeating Thailand's Petch Sor Chitpattana.  It was a tactical bout for the first three rounds. From the fourth round on, both fighters started applying pressure to each other. In the 6th, Nakatani floored his challenger two times. The ref stopped the fight after the second knockdown.

WBA interim world bantamweight champion Antonio Vargas has officially been elevated to full WBA world champion. Reigning champion Seiya Tsutsumi suffered an injury that will sideline him for several months, forcing the WBA to designate him as “Champion in Recess.”

Takei keeps title with close decision win over Higa

WBO champion Yoshiki Takei kept his title after 12 action-packed rounds. Challenger Daigo Higa made it tough for Takei. Scoring with powerful shots. In the 11th round, Higa scored a knockdown. Takei came back strong in the last round, winning the fight by split decision. Twice: 114–113 Takei, 115-112 Higa.

Nishida wins by knockout; Remains IBF champion

IBF bantamweight champion Ryosuke Nishida  kept his belt by scoring a  knockout over Thai challenger Anuchai Donsua at 1:37 of the 7th round. It was Nishida's first defense of the title he won in May. Nishida  controlled the contest and floored Donsua with a right hook midway round five. The seventh saw Nishida land a vicious left uppercut to the midsection to deck Donsua once again this time for the count.
